If Instruction Isn’t Engaging, I Quit is a documentary that will captivate the hearts of teachers, principals, and educators around the country. The film will highlight several teachers from coast to coast sharing the numerous ways they engage their students during instruction. Whether it is engaging their students behaviorally, emotionally, or cognitively, viewers will see the passion each teacher has for doing this ‘heart work.’
Professional development and school PLCs are opportune times to discuss student engagement; however, this documentary will also allow viewers to hear from the students as they express what student engagement looks like to them. While we are inspired by the talents of each featured teacher, it is equally important that our ears hear the perspective of our number one customer…the student! This is imperative because if they are not engaged, unfortunately, they just might QUIT!
